City Pharmacy Limited appoints IT Expert Flare Namaliu as Trainee Director.

City Pharmacy Limited (CPL) has welcomed Ms. Flare Namaliu to its Board of Directors as a Trainee Director.

Namaliu, an information technology (IT) professional, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, poised to help CPL navigate the evolving digital landscape of the industry.

Chairman of CPL Group, Stan Joyce, highlighted the significance of the Trainee Director program, stating, "This program identifies and nurtures aspiring directors, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in boardroom roles." He emphasized the critical need for skilled directors in both the private sector and the nation as a whole.

Namaliu's appointment marks a significant step towards greater diversity and inclusion within CPL's leadership.

With her addition, women now represent three directors and one trainee director on the Board, demonstrating CPL's commitment to gender balance. This dedication extends beyond the boardroom, with over 50% of the Group's employees being female.

Expressing confidence in Namaliu's contributions, Joyce stated, "We are confident that Flare's talent and expertise will be invaluable to both the Board and management. Her extensive IT experience makes her perfectly suited to guide CPL through the ever-changing digital landscape, while her previous experience as a trainee director ensures she possesses the necessary skills to excel in this role."
