New Year Message from Hon. Dr. Kobby Bomareo, Minister for Housing and Member for Tewae Siasai Open Electorate

HOUSING MINISTER HON.DR KOBBY BOMAREO'S NEW YEAR MESSAGE

My people's welfare remain my priority and it will continue into the New Year and in the years to come.
New year resolutions can be broken and others may fail to keep but you must be determined to know your worth at the end of the day.

My people of the Tewae Siassi Open Electorate in Morobe Province have given their mandate to me to represent them on the floor of Parliament twice because you all believe that I can bring the change you all rightfully deserve.

In this New Year going forward, I would like to encourage my people to work hard on the land as I will continue to assist rural farmers and fishermen to sell their fresh produce accordingly.
I will continue to support integral human development as we need more local educated elites to propel our district towards prosperity.

Tewae Siassi being a challenging district in terms of its physical geographical location, I will continue to support the Health, Education and Law and Order sectors as these services are crucial for all people to have access to accordingly.

The Tewae Siasai District Development Authority will continue to provide telecommunication services to the people as communication is vital throughout the electorate. Water supply, rural agriculture and livestock plus subsidizing shipping services and air transport services will continue to be prioritized as my district is located on and along the sea.

I encourage you all to believe in your potentials and work hard as life isn't easy nowadays.
To my staff at the Ministry of Housing and the National Housing Corporation (NHC), I urge you all to continue your support as we go through the major reformations taking place eventually to ensure housing is affordable and accessible to all public servants throughout the country.

I won't tolerate corruption as I will continue to suspend and terminate officers who think they can take short cuts through corrupt deals.

To all tenants of NHC houses and flats, I want to assure you all that the Marape-Rosso government will continue to help the reformation taking place at NHC and the reforms will continue moving forward.

I sincerely acknowledge the support of the Pangu led Marape-Rosso Government in approving major reformations taking place at the Ministry and the National Housing Corporation (NHC) respectively.

We all must appreciate the gift of life each day and be fruitful instead of lazily wasting time as God has a purpose for all of us regardless of our status, religion and ethnicity.

Allow 2024 to be your year of change as you take the first step to change within your family that will have a positive impact in your village and eventually your district and province as a whole as that is what you can do for your country.

I will remain steadfast to serve you all without fear or favour because I was mandated by the people to be their voice.

Please work hard and respect each other as we all prepare to go through 2024 moving forward.

HON.DR KOBBY BOMAREO
Minister for Housing and Member for Tewae Siasai Open Electorate
