Rodrick Tai Stays with Warrington Wolves for Another Season!

Exciting news for Warrington Wolves fans! Rodrick Tai, the Papua New Guinean star, will remain with the team next season.

Rodrick Tai is set to remain at Warrington Wolves.

Rodrick Tai will remain with Warrington Wolves next season, Rugby League Live has learned.

Reports emerged claiming the Papua New Guinean would not be staying with the Wolves next season, having initially signed with the club on a one-year contract.

However, sources have confirmed that the Wire have activated the one-year option the club had in their favour, meaning Tai will remain at the club for a second season.

The outside back, a Kumuls international, arrived in Super League from the Papua New Guinea Hunters in the off-season and has gone on to make ten appearances for the club, scoring four tries.

Named as Warrington's player of the month in May, Tai was part of the Challenge Cup Final squad that played at Wembley in June.Warrington are already well down the track with their recruitment and retention for next year.

The club has announced the signing of Luke Yates from Huddersfield Giants while Matty Russell and Gil Dudson are set to depart for Wakefield Trinity and Oldham respectively.

Josh Drinkwater is another player who is likely to leave at the expiration of his contract, meaning they will still have a quota spot at their disposal for next year.

That could become two should new rulings be passed, which would see players who hold British citizenship no longer count.

Yates would be eligible, which could give them further flexibility to recruit from overseas.

Regardless, Tai will be part of Sam Burgess' squad next season.

JUSTICE SYSTEM AN EXECUTIVE CLUB FOR FEW - By Allan Bird

JUSTICE SYSTEM AN EXECUTIVE CLUB FOR FEW: GOVERNOR BIRD By Allan Bird MP, Governor for East Sepik Province | The SUN of Papua New Guinea. It seems the rich and the powerful cannot be touched by our judiciary system. They can hire the best lawyers money can buy while police prosecuters are living in the settlements. Even when the Police Prosecuters are good at their job, well the workers in the courts help the rich and the powerful to get away with by robbing the future of our children. It seems that there is no place in PNG for good, decent and honest people. Only the rich and powerful, and evil people can get ahead in PNG. This is not a good sign.   I urge all good PNGeans to rise up, take back our country from the evil that has taken hold of our nation. As evil continues to win, good people will continue to lose hope. This is happening already.   Let's beat evil together. Don't let them win. If we all give up and give in, if evil people continue to win and there is no...
