James Nomane’s Call to Save PNG

A Call to Rethinking Leadership in Papua New Guinea

After the recent Vote of No Confidence, the Marape administration remains in power. Now is the time for us to think about how our country is being led and what we want for our future. The recent events remind us that we must pay attention to our leaders and their actions.

Many of us feel frustrated with how the Marape government has been running things. We see that political interests often come before the well-being of our people. We must ask ourselves: Are we okay with this? Should we accept a government that lets important services fall apart and ignores the needs of our communities?

Even though the Vote of No Confidence has ended, our call for change and accountability is still strong. The voices of the people need to be heard, and we must have a government that listens and takes action. Being a good citizen means we must participate not only during elections but every day.

The situation in our country is still serious. If we become complacent and do not speak up, we risk keeping a government that does not listen to us. We need to think about the future we want for our children. Are we satisfied with a legacy of inaction and dissatisfaction?

James Nomane’s earlier calls remind us that we each have a role in making sure our leaders do what is best for all of us. Just because the Marape government is still in power does not mean we should stop pushing for change. We need to continue speaking out about important issues like crime, economic troubles, and poor infrastructure.

As citizens, we have the responsibility to demand better leadership. Let’s work together to create a government that truly cares about our needs and aspirations.

Now is the time to engage with our leaders and hold them accountable. Our future depends on our ability to ask for change and work for it. Together, we can build a Papua New Guinea that values honesty, progress, and the well-being of every citizen. The road ahead might be tough, but with unity and determination, we can create a brighter future for our nation.

JUSTICE SYSTEM AN EXECUTIVE CLUB FOR FEW - By Allan Bird

JUSTICE SYSTEM AN EXECUTIVE CLUB FOR FEW: GOVERNOR BIRD By Allan Bird MP, Governor for East Sepik Province | The SUN of Papua New Guinea. It seems the rich and the powerful cannot be touched by our judiciary system. They can hire the best lawyers money can buy while police prosecuters are living in the settlements. Even when the Police Prosecuters are good at their job, well the workers in the courts help the rich and the powerful to get away with by robbing the future of our children. It seems that there is no place in PNG for good, decent and honest people. Only the rich and powerful, and evil people can get ahead in PNG. This is not a good sign.   I urge all good PNGeans to rise up, take back our country from the evil that has taken hold of our nation. As evil continues to win, good people will continue to lose hope. This is happening already.   Let's beat evil together. Don't let them win. If we all give up and give in, if evil people continue to win and there is no...
