KEROWAGI MP STILL ON THE MOVE FOR CHANGE!

KEROWAGI MP STILL ON THE MOVE FOR CHANGE!

By: Kerowagi District Development Authority

Hon. Francis Kikin Siune, the Member for Kerowagi District, continues to demonstrate unwavering dedication in securing vital funding for essential projects to enhance the district's infrastructure and economic landscape.

His recent initiatives for the year 2025 are focused on four (4) major areas: the establishment of a cement factory, improvements to health infrastructure, the revitalization of the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector through a partnership with City Pharmacy Limited (CPL) and the Kerowagi Cultural Show.

Siune's advocacy has attracted significant financial resources to support these endeavors. The proposed cement factory is expected to create jobs and stimulate local economic growth, addressing the pressing need for construction materials in the region.

He has prioritized health infrastructure by negotiating for funds for the renovation of rural health facilities, to ensure that residents have access to quality medical services.

Additionally, he earlier got the endorsement from the National Cultural Commission (NCC) to kick start the first annual cultural show in the district to coincide PNG's 50th Jubilee celebrations.

"Apart from all these, I will still be venturing further into other remote parts of my district to bring the basic services, but only if a change of attitudes from my people to embrace government services will make the difference. Otherwise, we will never change", said Kikin.
